An Autumn Passing through Historical Town – Snohomish, WA (photoblog)

Never be a prisoner of your past. It was just a lesson, not a life sentence. – unknown

2020 has not been great to us but it allowed me to revisit my state’s port cities and island communities across the bay from metro Seattle during this unusual low season. Here are just some of my favorite moments and photos.

Nestled just northwest from Seattle, Port Townsend is an old town that holds alot of historical Fort sites in the  Quimper Peninsula. It is a National Landmark. You can drive around the bay or take a ferry ride towards Jefferson County where the port resides. The town has alot of Victorian buildings and a few wineries nearby if you’d enjoy that. Since it was still quarantine season, there was less visitors then normal this summer which was nice. It was a much needed get away day trip. I needed a rest from the big city. These are just random photos of places we stopped at. Today’s focus is Point Wilson Lighthouse.
